Both twisted their beliefs to argue what they are doing is right. The killer in this book reminded me to the one in Abomination in Colleen Coble's Rock harbor series. I've come to enjoy this as the motive is only revealed later and she does a great job of taking her readers through disliking the bad guy to hating and even to feeling compassion as in this case. Irene always reveal the killer/culprit early in her books. I enjoyed reading all the clues and following the evidence with Mark and Coop and enjoyed when suddenly everything made sense. I loved the way the suspense started, with 1 shooter, 2 possible victims and no clear way to know who was the target. From page one this romantic suspense kept me turning pages and on the edge of the seat to find out what was going on.
